A budget planner that keeps you honest, not restricted.
Set a weekly or monthly limit for any spending category — groceries, dining out, transport — and Expense Tracking watches it for you. No spreadsheets, no manual math.
How budgeting works in Expense Tracking
- Pick a category and set a weekly or monthly spending limit
- Every transaction you log automatically counts against that budget
- See your remaining balance and progress bar at a glance on the dashboard
- Get an alert when you're approaching or over your limit
- Budgets reset automatically at the start of each new week or month
Why category-based budgeting works
A single "monthly budget" number rarely tells you anything useful — it's too broad to act on. Expense Tracking lets you set a limit per category instead, so you know specifically where you're overspending: is it food delivery? Rideshares? Subscriptions? That's the difference between a budget you can actually stick to and one you abandon by week two.
Do I need to set a budget for every category?
No — set budgets only for the categories you actually want to control. Everything else is tracked normally with no limit.
Can I change a budget after setting it?
Yes, edit or remove any budget at any time from the Budgets tab — changes apply from that point forward.
